Mind Flow – Music – To the Tune of I Will Possess Your Heart Thursday, May 22 2008

The flow, a drive that moves my steps

A direction, like water cascading

A drenching flood, like heavy syrup

A covering, that sticks and is stuck to.

The smell, a complete intoxication

A stupor, like purple waves of heat

A feeling, like floating and vacuums

An emptiness, like eating sweety pies.

The impact, a breathtaking hit

A desire, like a shaking hand

A psychosis, like a forest in a rainstorm

A fountain, like lovers’ first real desire.

Sleep by Charles Anthony Silvestri Saturday, May 3 2008

The evening hangs beneath the moon
A silver thread on darkened dune
With closing eyes and resting head
I know that sleep is coming soon

Upon my pillow, safe in bed
A thousand pictures fill my head
I cannot sleep, my mind’s a-flight
And yet my limbs seem made of lead

If there are noises in the night
A frightening shadow, flickering light
Then I surrender unto sleep
Where clouds of dream give second sight

What dreams may come, both dark and deep
Of flying wings and soaring leap
As I surrender unto sleep,
As I surrender unto sleep.
